Melody Owen and Chris Hartley are entrepreneurs, business owners and moms. They have come together to create Gummy Bear Press, combining their unique talents to offer families a unique opportunity to publish their stories in limited edition books that celebrate their lives, stories and imaginations. As a child, Melody Owen wrote a book. “I remember it clearly. I wrote it and no one read it. I showed it to my parents and they didn’t take notice. I thought to myself, why write if no one is reading it?” She went on to teach English and become an entrepreneur working with other entrepreneurs and small business to research and write for success. But that memory and creative spark never died.

Gummy Bear Press was born when Melody partnered with Chris, a fine and graphic artist, who was looking for new and fun ways to use her talents outside of creating business and marketing documents. They offer both workshops and limited-edition hand bound books that families can keep and share for years to come. All of the materials are of the highest quality and they do all of the printing and binding in-house so that they can control the quality all the way through the process.
